BAD Players Panto DVD 

The DVD of the highly acclaimed BAD Players' 2008 Panto, The Pied Piper of Burtle is now available.  The DVD includes a full copy of the Saturday night performance plus out-takes from the other performances.

Copies are £5.00 (proceeds to the BAD Players fund)

BAD Players Panto - The Pied Piper April 18th-19th 

Rehearsals are progressing but we urgently need additional children to make up numbers, anyone interested please contact a member of the cast or come along to the next rehearsal, Tuesday April 1st 7.45.pm (seriously).

Tickets are now available from Jane Allen, Turbary, Burtle Road - 01278 723670 or any member of the cast.  Don't leave it to the last minute, these performances are usually sell-outs, particularly Saturday night.

Anyone interested in helping out with scenary, costumes etc. or want to be in the crowd scenes feel free to come along to the next rehearsal, Tuesday April 1st, 7.45 pm.

Village Hall Renovation 

On Friday March14th the powers that be approved the revised plan to renovate the Village Hall (Plan B) and agreed to carry the grant from the County and District Council over for another 12 months.  Plan B involves enclosing the entire current village hall in a steel supported barn construction and utilising local materials 9straw, wool fleeces etc) to provide wall and roof insulation.  The kitchen and toilet areas will then eb demolished and rebuilt under the new roof.

The money is awardded on the understanding that some significant progress and expenditure is made before the end of March 2008.  A meeting is being held at the village hall on Monday 17th March, 8.00pm for anyone interested in assisting in this plan or a viable alternative.
